Stephen Lawson / Biography

I embraced the flexibility and capacity for sharing presented by digital photography in 2009, after a lifetime of mostly using film. Though I derive an equal and different sense of accomplishment from nature, city, event and mashup photography, in this portfolio I have chosen to showcase the first two types of images. I consider my photography an act of exploitation for mostly benign purposes. I use my environment to create images that I believe will please and inform viewers.
